Planned ExcursionMission Winery Estate – Navigate the World Special Event

*** 2024 WORDLD CRUISE EVENT ***

Travel back to the golden 1920’s in Napier’s historic heart – Mission Estate, New Zealand’s oldest winery becomes your playground: an exclusive soiree reminiscent of Gatsbyesque elegance.  Live Jazz melodies, flapper dancers and vintage vignettes await.  Revel in a culinary feast celebrating Napier’s finest produce, paired impeccably with Mission Estate’s renowned wines.  Under the canopy, dance on an al fresco floor, letting the Roaring Twenties spirit sweep you away.

Today's Notes: Another beautiful partly cloudy day in the low 70's.  We went to an exclusive event for only the world traveler's.  We all had a great time experiencing life in the 1920's.  There were old cars from the period, dancers and bagpipe multipiece group playing many songs.  The pictures and videos I have to upload will show just what a wonderful day it was.  Everyone on the bus back to the ship agreed it was worth going.
