Date: 4/3/2024 Day 89 Port: MUMBAI, INDIA (Day 2)
Description: Mumbai, formerly known as Bombay,
is the capital of the Indian state of Maharashtra and one of the most populous
cities in the world. This bustling city offers a seemingly endless array of
sights and cultural activities, and is the commercial and entertainment capital
of India. Mumbai is home to India’s Hindi film and television industry, known
as “Bollywood.” Mumbai is also one of the few cities that accommodates a
national park, the Sanjay Gandhi National Park, within its city limits.
Today's Notes: We all (myself, Cathy, Joe and Pat) decided to cancel today's excursion. We had enough of Mumbai yesterday and remained on board today. Before the ship can leave India every person onboard was required to pass though Immigration. They scanned our landing cards and kept them along with taking our photos again and stamping our passports. We are all glad to be moving on from India and looking forward to the next 2 sea days for R&R (Rest & Relaxation) before our next port-of-call MUSCAT, OMAN.
Indian Folkloric Dance Show presented on Regent Seven Seven Seas Mariner April 3, 2024. (Seven Seas Society exclusive event) 45 minute presentation spread over 8 parts.

Again once we are back out to sea and away from India should we regain our higher speed Internet connections. I have pictures to upload in the two sea days before our next port-of-call.
