Planned Excursion: EVERGLADES AIRBOAT ADVENTURE - 3.5 Hours - Moderate Activity

Take an exhilarating ride through the Everglades in an airboat.  Watch for alligators, iguanas and water birds.  Browse the national park on your own during free time.

Daily Notes: We rose to an early start at 6:00 AM as Joe and I were to leave on today's excursion at 8 AM.  Cathy stayed on board to finish unpacking and to caught up on our landry in the ship's free laundromat.  We went up to have breakfast at the buffet.  I was taken aback by the full table settings, linen and all.  Before browsing the buffet staff insured we have our coffee and juice.

Rain was forecasted as we set off for our excursion, taking a 45 minute coach bus ride to the Everglades Airboat Adventure located in the Everglades National Park.  We had a wonderful boat ride.  Thankfully it didn't start to misty rain until returning to the dock.   We left the park at 11:15 AM and arrived back to the ship at 12 noon in time to get back on board before the ship left Miami at 1 PM.
