Date: 2/5/2024 Day 31 Sea Day: CRUISING THE PACIFIC OCEAN
Todays Notes: The seas have calmed and we have smooth sailing today. For the first time Cathy, Pat and Joe spent time around the pool. It's been a lovely day. Cathy is recovered from sea sickness and was able to go to dinner last night.
Two evenings ago we dined with one of the ship's entertainer's. Here we are meeting for diner Jolene one of the ship's singers. We all had a very enjoyable dinner together, myself, Cathy, Pat and Joe. Pictured here is myself and Joe (Joseph J. Rawson) with Jolene. She is from the Philippines and we thought we'd surprised her by wearing our Philippine dress shirts. We received them as a gift from another cruiser we met on a previous cruise in 2018 who is also from the Philippines. They are Traditional Filipino men's dress shirts known as a Barong Tagalog in the Philippines. Many of the other worker's where happy and surprised we were wearing the Barong's.
